Ashden Winners 2020

Founded in 2001, Ashden is a globally recognised London-based charity that works in sustainable energy and development. Its work includes advocacy and research, and mentoring and practical support for their annual Ashden Award winners.

Their mission is to accelerate transformative climate solutions and build a more just world. Their awards, events, networks and analysis support climate innovation in the UK and developing countries around the world.

The Prestigious Ashden Awards are given to organisations and businesses that deliver local, sustainable projects with social, economic and environmental benefits. Their rigorous assessment process is well known to investors, policymakers, academics and other experts in the sustainable energy and climate change sector around the world.

In 2020 we were honoured to win their Clean Air in UK Towns and Cities Award. The ongoing support Ashden provide for their alumnae, and the opportunity to network with other Ashden winners has been invaluable.
