Living Wage Champions Employee Choice Award winners 2021

The Living Wage Foundation are the organisation at the heart of the independent movement of businesses and people that campaign for the idea that a hard day’s work deserves a fair day’s pay. They celebrate and recognise the leadership of responsible employers who choose to go further and pay a real Living Wage based on the cost of living, not just the government minimum.

The real Living Wage is voluntarily paid by nearly 10,000 UK employers who believe we all need a wage that meets our everyday needs. The real Living Wage rates are higher than the national living wage because they are independently calculated annually based on what people really need to get by.

From inception we knew we wanted e-cargobikes.com to be a Living Wage accredited company. We know that paying the London Living wage increases motivation and retention rates and we see the real difference it makes to our staff.

In 2021 we were so pleased to be awarded the Living Wage Champion Employee Choice Award, especially as in this category companies are nominated by their own staff. We couldn’t have asked for a better commendation.
